The next session of Level 1 - Tribal Style Bellydance classes in Fairbanks starts September 1, the same day we open our new studio downtown!


All Tribal Style Belly Dance classes will be held at Space for Movement Studio, 410 2nd Ave Fairbanks AK 99701

Session 4 - Starts September 1 2009

CLASS: Tribal Basics - Level 1: Tribal Steps and Posture
*** Please note preregistration is required at this level***

TIME: Tuesdays 8-9:15 pm

FEE: $80 per session (6 weeks)


This class is for all new students, regardless of dance level or prior experience in any style of dance.

This class will teach the fundamental steps in the ATS vocabulary: choo choo, Arabic, pivot pumps, Egyptian basic and shimmy (fast moves) as well as taxeem, maya, chest circles, snake arms and body wave (slow moves). We will focus on tribal steps technique and posture in this class. No previous dance experience required.
